Todd Christensen has over 30 years of experience in the elevator industry and leads Metro Elevator Iowa with a collaborative approach, fostering trust, innovation, and shared success. His leadership is built on empowering his team to reach their full potential while delivering top-tier customer service.
Todd began his career at Montgomery Elevator Company immediately after graduating from the University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies and a Minor in Business Administration. Drawn to the industry's high-value sales opportunities and individual autonomy, he quickly developed a strong foundation in elevator solutions and customer relationships.
For 24 years, Todd held leadership roles with increasing P&L responsibility at a major international elevator company. His extensive experience in operations, sales, and management has made him a trusted leader in the field. A former member of the State of Iowa Elevator Safety Board, Todd is recognized for his deep industry knowledge and commitment to safety and excellence. What sets him apart is his ability to build meaningful, lasting connections—an invaluable skill in both business and leadership.
Outside of work, Todd enjoys golfing, cheering on the Iowa Hawkeyes, and spending quality time with his family.
